Permanent Makeup Pre-Care

Before your Brow Appointment
  • Please refrain for at least 2 weeks from using any exfoliating anti-aging/anti-acne products (retinoids, glycolics, vitamin C, AHA/BHA, enzyme washes, serums, etc.) around your brows and 2 weeks after for best-healed results

  • Do not drink coffee, alcohol, or energizing drinks 24 hours before your appointment,

  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, or Ibuprofen 24 hours before appointment.

  • Do not take omega3 (fish oil) 1 week before appointment.

  • Do not tan or have intense sun exposure at least 2 weeks before appointment.

  • No waxing/threading, tinting at least 2 weeks before appointment.

  • No chemical peels, dermabrasion, laser, botox, or any other intense treatments 2 weeks before your brow appointment.

  • Your skin should be healthy, non-irritated, blemish, and sunburn-free for best results.  Your skin type and condition will greatly determine your results.

  • Shower and fix your hair as you need to take extra care not to get your brows wet for several days.

 

Before your Semi-Permanent Eyeliner Appointment
  • Stop using any moisturizing oils or cream on the eyelids a week before your appointment.

  • No lash serums, lash lifts/tints at least 2 weeks before and not til 2 weeks after the touchup appointment.

  • Remove any false lashes/eyelash extensions you have on at least 2 weeks before the appointment and do not put back on until 2 weeks after the touchup.

  • Do not wear contact lenses to the appointment.

  • No signs of eye infection (blepharitis, pink eye, etc) 

 

Before your Lip Blush Appointment
  • Moisturize your lips with lip balm (such as Burts Bees, etc.) for a week before your appointment.

  • No lip fillers at least 6 weeks before and after your appointment.

  • Do not intake any coffee and soda/pop on the day of the procedure.

  • Do not consume salty foods and dairy products a day before the procedure.

  • Please contact your doctor and get an anti-viral medication a week before and after your appointment if you are prone to cold sores.
